Getting your file right
What is bleed?
Bleed is artwork extended ⅛″ past the trim so no white edge shows after cutting. Our templates mark the trim, bleed, and safe area for you.
File setup & accepted formats
We print from vector line art, one color per pass — no raster photos, gradients or screens. Send a clean vector file with each color on its own layer. Accepted: AI · INDD · PDF · PSD · JPG.
What is raised print?
A clear powder is fused to the wet ink and heated until it swells into a smooth, raised line you can feel — the dimensional look of engraving at a friendlier price.

Raised-print letterhead gives correspondence the tactile, executive feel of engraving at a friendlier price. A resin process raises the type into a smooth, slightly rounded surface you can feel under a fingertip — substantial, professional stationery, printed to order by Wells & Drew.
