Accellion, Inc announced today the release of Accellion for iManage Plug-in, which allows for the secure sending of files of any size directly from the Autonomy iManage application.
This will enable legal professionals to easily and securely send large files to business partners, outside counsel, as well as their clients. The Accellion for iManage Plug-in incorporates Accellion Secure Managed File Transfer business solution with Autonomy iManage. This will provide legal professionals with a compliant and secure way to share confidential information.
A number of legal firms around the globe use Accellion Secure File Transfer. These include Morgan Lewis, Bingham McCutchen, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, SNR Denton, Hogan Lovells, Cozen O’Connor and Clyde & Co.
With Accellion for iManage Plug-in, law firms would now be able to quickly and securely transfer single or multiple documents, including emails, directly from the Autonomy iManage Document Management System, or DMS.
All files that have been transferred through the Accellion for iManage Plug-in are secured. It also automatically generates a return receipt, as well as an audit trail with tracking and reporting necessary to show compliance.
