The law firm of Thompson & Knight has announced the addition of popular trial lawyer Philip Kessler to direct the expanding operations of the Firm in New York City. He will also lead the new office in Detroit.
A nationally renowned business litigator, Mr. Kessler has 38 years of experience in various state and federal courts. The metropolitan Detroit office of Thompson & Knight, which is slated to open in spring of 2011, is the eleventh office of the Firm and the second one outside of Texas.

The law practice of Mr. Kessler is centered on business disputes on behalf of partnerships, individuals, private, and public corporations.
His far-ranging experience includes cases involving bankruptcy, antitrust, health care and pharmaceuticals, contracts, intellectual property, securities matters, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
